€2.5M grant from the European Innovation Council (EIC) awarded to Celare Quantum Communications

We’re thrilled to announce that Celare Quantum Communications has been awarded a €2.5M grant from the European Innovation Council (EIC). This funding will support the continued development and scaling of our Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) technology, which already delivers quantum-secure encryption solutions to several clients. CEO Asger Trier Bing comments: “We look forward to putting this grant to good use by enabling even more companies and organisations to benefit from the safety and security of high-speed quantum-encrypted communications. This marks another important step toward making our technology a foundation for the secure communication networks of the future.” Celare’s proposal is one of just 40 projects selected from 611 submissions in the 2025 EIC Transition call. As part of the programme, Celare will also gain access to EIC Business Acceleration Services, including coaching, mentoring, and partnering opportunities.
